Hello everybody,
Sorry about the delay in posting this blog but there is no internet cafe in little town, and the computer here was unable work properly until today. Thank you Lord that you always communicate with us even though we don't work well sometimes and are too busy to listen.
We arrived in Krements on Tuesday at 5:00 PM after a six hour bus ride from Kiev. Yes, the trip from New York to Kiev was about long, nine hours but we did enjoy a little bit of sleep and they fed us twice on the flight. We do want to be here.
Liya and Michael were at the Kiev Airport to pick us up, a bus ride to Kiev, a little bit of food, and then onto Kremenets, Ukraine. We settled into our hotel and had a good night's sleep before our first time of ministry on Wednesday. The students welcomed us as Fred, and Kevin and Cecelia had prepared the way for us to teach in the school here. We introduced ourselves briefly and then began to speak the truth of God's Word in their lives. They are hungry for change, hungry for more transformation in their lives and just want more of God. Pat did an interpetive dance before she ministered in the afternoon as the ladies all want to learn how to dance like her! Thank you Lord!
The biggest problem we face is the language barrier. Only Liya our translator can speak English and she is from Russia, doesn't know where things are in the town, but she is very sweet and receptive to what our needs are. It's really different to be in a country where you are the only Americans in the whole town; it feels like we are strangers and pilgrims in this land!
The food is typical Ukranian food; soup and potatoes or beets for lunch at 2:00 PM. The bread is dark and Pat is really in heaven without any meat! She wanted me to tell everyone that she wants to stay here for at least four more months.
Will post later on today. We are doing well and God be praised!

Glad to hear you made it alright. I remember what it is like to be the only westerners there. It can be very isolating but I was able to use that isolation to work on my teachings.
Taras wanted me to see the memorial for those Jews killed during the war. I think it was important to him.
Bless you two. I beginning to think that I broke the Internet while I was there.
